JAMES is a very private but successful English, traditional painter.  He lives in an isolated spot in Lincolnshire, a quiet, rural backwater, half the way up England on the right hand side, about twelve miles from the North Sea.

He is a busy artist. Working for an exacting and knowledgeable clientele for thirty years, James has been making all his own materials using ingredients and techniques that date back centuries. James is making these panels available because he has a particular love of his subject and a big soft spot for other artists.

James believes that in this age run by loan sharks, accountants and mass producers, artists need to win a bit. These panels are bespoke, prestige objects; the modern world can’t mass produce them. Scarcity and inimitability is what artists offer the world; that’s what these panels help with.

That’s the story. I hope you love these panels. They’re like nothing else out there.
